Indus.News is an independent, Pakistan-focused news project dedicated to critical, contextual, and media-aware journalism. The platform curates and analyzes reporting from Pakistani and international outlets to make patterns of coverage, framing, and omission visible—especially where power, politics, and human rights intersect.
Founded by Felix Farhan Daudert, a social worker and educator working at the intersection of human rights, migration, and media analysis, and with previous newsroom experience, Indus.News treats news not as neutral information, but as a social practice shaped by institutions, interests, and global hierarchies. The project combines aggregated reporting with editorial summaries and comparative framing to help readers understand not just what is reported about Pakistan, but how and by whom.
With a focus on transparency, plurality of sources, and critical distance, Indus.News aims to serve journalists, researchers, diaspora audiences, and anyone interested in Pakistan beyond headlines—without sensationalism, nationalism, or geopolitical shorthand.
