About the Editor:
Indus.News is edited by Muhammad Farhan (aka Farhan Janjua), a former journalist and editor. His journalistic experiences include being the Regional Editor Middle East & Af-Pak at the Bertelsmann Stiftung’s project FutureChallenges.org, author and language editor at GlobalVoices.org, Digital Editor at Dunya News Pakistan and Daily Times Pakistan. Farhan holds a masters degree in Media & Communication Studies, a masters in Political Science, a BSc. (Open) in International Relations and Sociology, and is currently pursuing BA Social Work in Germany.
Based in Berlin, Farhan left Pakistan in 2019 and continued as a freelance journalist/editor in Germany for a couple of years before decideding to change career. He currently works as a social worker in Germany with vulnerable groups such as queer refugees and refugees with disabilities while studying for a social work degree. Farhan moonlights as culture critic and geopolitics commentator on his digital media platforms including Indus.News and satire blog Guppu.com.
